Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AIG07 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of Ubiquitin-specific protease 1 (USP1), developed by AIGEN Sciences. USP1 is a deubiquitinating enzyme that plays a critical role in DNA damage response (DDR) pathways, particularly in the repair of DNA interstrand crosslinks and translesion synthesis. By inhibiting USP1, AIG07 aims to exploit synthetic lethality in tumors with homologous recombination deficiency (HRD), such as BRCA1-deficient solid cancers. The drug is currently in the candidate selection phase of preclinical development.
