Overview

AIG07025 is a potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of Ubiquitin-Specific Protease 1 (USP1), currently in preclinical development for the treatment of cancers characterized by homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) or BRCA mutations. USP1 is a deubiquitinating enzyme that plays a critical role in DNA damage repair and replication fork stability; its inhibition induces synthetic lethality in tumors with impaired DNA repair pathways. Developed by AIGEN Sciences, AIG07025 has demonstrated robust and durable antitumor activity in various in vivo models, including subcutaneous xenograft and orthotopic metastasis models. The compound is designed to overcome resistance to PARP inhibitors and has shown broad potential for synergistic combinations with other agents targeting the DNA damage response (DDR) and replication stress pathways.
