Overview

Aipalolitovorelizumab (QL1706) is a novel bifunctional antibody (bispecific antibody) that simultaneously targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4). Developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical using its proprietary Mab-Pair technology, it is designed to enhance the anti-tumor immune response by blocking two distinct immune checkpoint pathways. By inhibiting PD-1, it prevents the suppression of T-cell activity, while CTLA-4 inhibition promotes T-cell activation and proliferation in the early stages of the immune response. It is currently being evaluated in various clinical trials, both as a monotherapy and in combination with other agents like fruquintinib, for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including metastatic colorectal cancer, cervical cancer, and small cell lung cancer.
