Aiqin Zhike Granules (艾芩止咳颗粒) is an innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Beijing Jingshi Weikang Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. It is classified as a Class 1.1 new drug in China and is specifically indicated for the treatment of acute tracheobronchitis, particularly for patients presenting with the 'wind-heat transforming into toxin' syndrome. The formulation is designed to clear heat, ventilate the lungs, resolve phlegm, and suppress cough. Pharmacologically, it is intended to exert anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and antitussive effects. The drug has progressed into Phase 3 clinical trials in China to evaluate its efficacy and safety in reducing cough severity and phlegm production compared to placebo.
