Overview

AK112 + AK130 is a combination investigational therapy under evaluation for advanced biliary tract cancer. AK112 is a first-in-class humanized IgG1 bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both programmed death-1 (PD-1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), acting as both an immune checkpoint inhibitor and antiangiogenic agent. AK130’s precise target and modality have not been published, but it is being studied in combination with AK112 to assess safety, tolerability, and efficacy in early-phase clinical trials. Both molecules are developed by Akeso for oncologic indications, with demonstrated activity of AK112 in other cancers such as non-small cell lung cancer as well[1][2][3].
