AK150 is a first-in-class, humanized trispecific antibody targeting colony stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R), leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 1 (ILT2/LILRB1), and leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 2 (ILT4/LILRB2). Developed by Akeso using its proprietary AI-driven drug discovery platform and Tetrabody technology, AK150 is designed to modulate the tumor microenvironment by targeting immunosuppressive myeloid cells. The drug works by blocking CSF1R to deplete these cells while simultaneously inhibiting ILT2 and ILT4 to release the "molecular brakes" on remaining myeloid populations. Additionally, ILT2 blockade has the potential to activate CD8+ T cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells, further enhancing the anti-tumor immune response. AK150 has received Investigational New Drug (IND) clearance from the NMPA for clinical trials in patients with advanced solid tumors.
