Overview

AK3280 Cream (also known as AK3287) is an innovative topical cream formulation designed specifically for the treatment of hypertrophic scars. It is derived from AK3280, which is a next-generation broad-spectrum anti-fibrotic molecule optimized from the marketed drug pirfenidone. The cream formulation works by reducing cell proliferation and inhibiting the synthesis and accumulation of extracellular matrix, thereby exerting its therapeutic effect on fibrotic conditions of the skin.
