Overview

**AKO001** is a preclinical psychedelic-based fixed-dose combination developed by Akome Biotech for mitigating neurological damage following **ischemic stroke**. It combines **N,N-dimethyltryptamine** with an undisclosed specific plant bioactive; the components are intended to act complementarily when administered immediately after a stroke event. The disclosed pharmacology is principally attributable to dimethyltryptamine, a non-selective serotonin-receptor agonist, while the identity, molecular targets, and contribution of the plant-derived active remain undisclosed.
