Drug intelligence / Profile preview
aKRAS G13D is a therapeutic monoclonal antibody developed by Oblique Therapeutics that specifically targets the G13D mutant form of the KRAS protein. KRAS is a small GTPase that functions as a molecular switch in cell signaling pathways; mutations such as G13D lock the protein in a constitutively active state, driving the uncontrolled proliferation and survival of cancer cells. This antibody was discovered using Oblique's proprietary Ab-cision platform, which is designed to identify antibodies against difficult-to-reach or 'undruggable' epitopes. aKRAS G13D is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development for the treatment of KRAS-mutated cancers, including solid tumors where the G13D mutation is prevalent.
