AKT100

AKT100 (also known as AKT-100) is a small-molecule curcumin analogue developed by Akkadian Therapeutics that functions as a mutant p53 reactivator. It is designed to restore the tumor-suppressive function of mutated p53 proteins, which are frequently inactivated in various malignancies, particularly in high-grade serous epithelial ovarian cancer (HGSOC). Preclinical studies have demonstrated that AKT100 exhibits robust anti-tumor activity both as a monotherapy and in synergistic combination with PARP inhibitors. Beyond its lead indication in ovarian cancer, the compound has also shown efficacy in preclinical models of breast and pancreatic cancers. AKT100 is currently in the early drug discovery and preclinical development stages.
