Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AL-273 is a next-generation, brain- and lung-penetrable, reversible small-molecule inhibitor of pan-mutant epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Developed by Alaw Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Eilean Therapeutics, the compound is designed to target a broad spectrum of clinically relevant EGFR mutations, including difficult-to-treat and resistance-associated variants. By achieving robust central nervous system (CNS) and pulmonary penetration, AL-273 aims to provide durable pathway suppression and address therapeutic resistance in genetically diverse EGFR-driven solid tumors, particularly those with intracranial involvement or brain metastases. It is currently in preclinical development.
