Overview

AL-801 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody being developed by ALPS Biotech for the treatment of lung cancer. It targets GM2 ganglioside activator protein (GM2AP), an essential cofactor involved in the lysosomal degradation of ganglioside GM2. By targeting GM2AP, AL-801 aims to inhibit tumor cell survival and progression. ALPS Biotech is also developing a companion diagnostic, AL-801DX, which utilizes GM2AP as a biomarker for early-stage lung cancer screening.
