Overview
Al-DPS is an alkali-extractable polysaccharide derived from the mushroom *Dictyophora indusiata*, commonly known as the bamboo pith or veiled lady mushroom. Research indicates that Al-DPS possesses significant antihyperlipidemic, hepatoprotective, and antioxidant properties. In preclinical studies, it has been shown to improve serum and hepatic lipid profiles, reduce hepatic cell injury, and enhance the body's antioxidant status.
