AL101-PSO is a botanical drug candidate being developed by AngioLab for the treatment of psoriasis. It is a small molecule-based botanical extract designed to function as a multi-target inhibitor, specifically targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). The mechanism of action involves the inhibition of VEGF-mediated angiogenesis and the suppression of MMP activity, both of which are critical drivers in the pathogenesis of psoriasis, including abnormal microvascular proliferation and tissue remodeling.
