**AL58805** is a small molecule inhibitor of the mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR), a serine/threonine kinase in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway that regulates cell growth, proliferation, and survival. Developed by Advenchen Laboratories Nanjing Ltd., it is being evaluated in a Phase 1 dose-escalation trial for patients with advanced solid tumors, including lymphoma, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancer, bladder cancer, and cholangiocarcinoma, who have progressed on or are intolerant to standard therapies.
