Overview

ALA-1300 is a subcutaneous injectable depot formulation of buprenorphine being developed by Alar Pharmaceuticals. It is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of pain and opioid-related disorders. As a buprenorphine formulation, it works through opioid receptor activity, primarily as a partial agonist at the mu-opioid receptor while also acting on delta and kappa opioid receptors.
