Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Albicansan is an isopathic homeopathic remedy developed and manufactured by Sanum-Kehlbeck. It is derived from the yeast Candida albicans. The product is based on homeopathic principles, specifically the concept of isopathy ("like cures like"), and is intended to address conditions associated with Candida albicans overgrowth by modulating the body's immune response. Albicansan is indicated for a variety of fungal infections (mycoses), including those affecting the skin, mouth (stomatitis, oral thrush), and the urogenital tract (vaginitis). It is also used for gastrointestinal candidiasis and to help restore microbial balance in the gut. It is available in multiple formulations, including oral drops, capsules, suppositories, and topical ointment.
