Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Albumin + rHuPH20** is a subcutaneous placebo-comparator regimen used in a Phase 3 chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy study of HyQvia. It consists of a low-concentration albumin placebo solution administered with recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20, an enzyme used to transiently degrade hyaluronan in subcutaneous extracellular matrix and thereby increase local tissue permeability and dispersion. The albumin component serves as a placebo substitute for immunoglobulin rather than as the intended disease-modifying treatment.
