Albumin iodinated I-125 serum

Albumin iodinated I-125 serum is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic agent composed of human serum albumin labeled with the radioactive isotope iodine‑125. It is administered intravenously and used primarily for the determination of total blood and plasma volume, as well as measurement of circulation time and cardiac output. After injection, it distributes rapidly within the intravascular compartment, with slower movement into extravascular spaces.
