Overview

aldoxorubicin + N-803 is an investigational combination therapy for cancer that consists of aldoxorubicin—a prodrug of the chemotherapy doxorubicin, which selectively delivers doxorubicin to tumors by binding to albumin and releasing its payload in the acidic tumor microenvironment—and N-803 (also known as Anktiva), a superagonist of interleukin-15 (IL-15), designed to enhance activation and proliferation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells. The combination is being explored for the treatment of advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer, typically in combination with checkpoint-modified NK cell therapies and low-dose chemoradiation, aiming to induce immunogenic cell death and orchestrate both innate and adaptive antitumor immune responses[1][2][3][6][8].
