Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ALE.P03 is a first-in-class antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) in preclinical development for the treatment of Claudin-1 (CLDN1) positive solid tumors. Developed by Alentis Therapeutics, ALE.P03 consists of an anti-CLDN1 antibody linked to a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload. The ADC selectively binds to and internalizes into CLDN1-overexpressing tumor cells, delivering its cytotoxic payload directly to cancer tissue while sparing healthy cells. Preclinical studies have demonstrated strong tumor growth inhibition across various CLDN1+ tumor models. Good laboratory practice toxicology studies are ongoing, with clinical trials planned for patients with CLDN1+ solid tumors[2][3][4][7].
