Aledex is a proprietary anti-biofilm and antimicrobial technology developed by Kane Biotech. It is a composition primarily consisting of antibiofilm protamine sulfate and antimicrobial chlorhexidine salt, and may include additional antimicrobials such as triclosan and benzalkonium chloride. This technology is designed to prevent and remove microbial biofilms, particularly in medical device coating applications to combat hospital-acquired infections. Kane Biotech also applies this technology in its animal health, wound care, and dermatology business units.
