Aleeto (protein polymer alitol) is an investigational recombinant protein polymer therapeutic being developed by Tsinghua University Yuquan Hospital for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. The drug is designed to target pathological processes in the brain, potentially involving the inhibition or clearance of amyloid-beta aggregates. Aleeto is administered via intravenous infusion, with early clinical protocols evaluating a two-week treatment regimen. It is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with cognitive impairment.
