Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Alergoliber is an antihistamine medication developed and marketed by Atco Pharma for the treatment of allergic conditions. Its active ingredient is rupatadine fumarate, a second-generation antihistamine that uniquely exhibits dual activity as both a selective histamine H1 receptor antagonist and a platelet-activating factor (PAF) antagonist. This dual mechanism provides relief from symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. It is available in tablet and oral syrup formulations and is approved for use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
