Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ALEXIS-ISO-1 (also known as Isocel and KB-ISM) is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf gamma delta T-cell therapy engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting isoform 2 of mesothelin (iso-mesothelin). Developed using artificial intelligence by Kiromic BioPharma, this investigational cell therapy is designed for the treatment of solid tumors that express iso-mesothelin. The product leverages healthy donor-derived gamma delta T-cells, which are genetically modified to recognize and attack cancer cells expressing the target antigen. The approach aims to provide a universal CAR-T option for solid malignancies with improved safety, efficacy, and manufacturing scalability compared to autologous therapies[1][5][6][8].
