ALF301 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived islet cell therapy being developed by Allife Medical Science and Technology for the treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. The therapy is designed to replace or supplement dysfunctional pancreatic beta cells by providing functional, insulin-producing islet cells. By restoring the body's endogenous ability to produce insulin in response to blood glucose levels, ALF301 aims to improve glycemic control and potentially reduce or eliminate the need for exogenous insulin therapy. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
