Alflutop is an injectable chondroprotective drug derived from a bioactive concentrate of small marine fish. Its formulation contains mucopolysaccharides (notably chondroitin sulfate), amino acids, peptides, and minerals such as sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, copper, and zinc. Alflutop acts by inhibiting hyaluronidase activity, thus protecting and stimulating the biosynthesis of hyaluronic acid, which is essential for joint fluid and cartilage integrity. The drug promotes tissue regeneration, reduces pain through an analgesic effect, and demonstrates anti-inflammatory activity. The primary indications are osteoarthritis (both primary and secondary forms), spondylosis, and osteochondrosis.
