Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aliatop crema is a topical medical device developed by Epitech Group for the symptomatic treatment of itching, burning, irritation, and skin rashes associated with inflammatory, chronic, or relapsing erythematous-squamous dermatoses, such as atopic dermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis, and allergic contact dermatitis. The formulation contains a synergistic combination of active ingredients, including adelmidrol, phytosphingosine, hyaluronic acid, and sodium PCA. Adelmidrol, a synthetic aliamide derivative of azelaic acid, acts as a mast cell stabilizer and PPAR-gamma agonist to downregulate neuroinflammatory responses. Phytosphingosine helps control resident microbial flora and, together with hyaluronic acid, promotes physiological cell turnover and restores the skin barrier. Sodium PCA provides intense moisturizing and emollient effects to maintain skin hydration.
