Overview

This is a hypothetical or non-standard combination of six antihypertensive agents, each acting on the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) through different mechanisms. The components are: - **Aliskiren** (a direct renin inhibitor) - **Enalapril**, **Quinapril**, and **Ramipril** (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, ACEIs) - **Irbesartan** and **Valsartan** (angiotensin II receptor blockers, ARBs) All these drugs lower blood pressure by interfering with the RAS pathway but at different points. Aliskiren inhibits renin directly, preventing the formation of angiotensin I. ACE inhibitors block the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, while ARBs prevent angiotensin II from binding to its receptor. Combining multiple agents from these classes is not recommended due to increased risk of adverse effects such as renal impairment, hyperkalemia, and hypotension[1][2]. There are no approved products or clinical guidelines supporting use of all six together; in fact, even dual combinations among these classes are generally contraindicated in patients with diabetes or kidney impairment[1].
