Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Aliviador** is a Brazilian topical fixed-dose counterirritant and analgesic product containing methyl salicylate, camphor, menthol, and turpentine essence. It is applied locally for symptomatic relief of rheumatic, neuralgic, muscular, and traumatic pain, including contusions and torticollis. Its components produce local cooling, rubefacient, irritant, and mild local anesthetic effects intended to reduce perceived musculoskeletal pain. A Laboratório Brasileiro de Biologia-sponsored Phase 3 trial evaluated Aliviador against Gelol in contusions, sprains, trauma, muscle injury, myalgia, myofascial pain, and tendinitis.
