Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AllerFix is a non-pharmacological over-the-counter (OTC) medical device developed by Intermed Pharma for the prevention and management of allergic symptoms caused by inhaled allergens such as pollen, dust, and mites. Formulated as a nasal gel with a unique wheat-based composition, it functions by neutralizing the electrostatic charge of airborne allergens, creating a physical barrier that prevents them from entering the nasal cavity. The product is applied topically around the nostrils and between the nose and upper lip, with each application providing protection for approximately 3-4 hours. Because it contains no pharmaceutical active ingredients, AllerFix is suitable for sensitive populations, including infants, children, and pregnant women, and is compatible with homeopathic treatments.
