Overview
Allergovac Depot is a subcutaneous and sublingual allergy immunotherapy product developed for the treatment of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and seasonal allergic rhinitis. It contains standardized extracts of allergens such as Phleum pratense (timothy grass) pollen and is formulated as a suspension for injection or as a polymerized "depot" preparation to provide sustained release of the active ingredients. The mechanism of action involves immunomodulation—exposing patients to increasing doses of specific allergens to induce immune tolerance and reduce hypersensitivity reactions upon natural exposure. This therapy aims to modify the underlying immune response rather than just treating symptoms[1][6].
