Overview
**Allergovac depot Olea europaea** is a standardized native extract of Olea europaea (olive tree) pollen adsorbed onto 0.2% aluminum hydroxide, developed by ROXALL Medicina España S.A. for subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) in patients with allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, with or without asthma, sensitized to olive pollen. It employs an abbreviated build-up schedule over 5 weeks to reach a maintenance dose of 1000 TSU/mL (vial 3), inducing immunological tolerance through significant increases in specific IgG (x4.4-fold) and IgG4 (x6.3-fold) levels while reducing specific IgE and cutaneous reactivity in skin prick tests. Clinical trials demonstrate excellent safety, with only 1.9% systemic reactions across doses and no grade III or higher events, supporting its use in immunotherapy units under allergologist supervision.[1][2][5][8]
