Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ALLLIFE CAR-NK BCMA is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) natural killer (NK) cell therapy being developed by All Life Biotechnology for the treatment of multiple myeloma. The therapy utilizes NK cells that have been genetically engineered to express a CAR targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), a cell surface protein predominantly expressed on malignant plasma cells. Upon recognition of BCMA, the CAR-NK cells mediate direct tumor cell lysis. This modality is designed to offer a targeted therapeutic option with a potentially improved safety profile regarding cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity compared to traditional CAR-T cell therapies. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials.
