ALLO-182

ALLO-182 is an investigational allogeneic CAR T cell therapy candidate developed by Allogene Therapeutics. It targets Claudin18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein highly expressed in several epithelial tumors, including gastric and pancreatic cancers. As an off-the-shelf (allogeneic) CAR T product, ALLO-182 is designed to provide potent antitumor activity with a single infusion and aims to overcome limitations of autologous CAR T therapies such as manufacturing time and patient-specific variability. Preclinical studies have demonstrated robust cytotoxicity against CLDN18.2-expressing tumor models with minimal off-tumor toxicity, supporting its potential for clinical benefit in solid tumors[1][3][4].
