Overview

ALLO-213 is an engineered, off-the-shelf, allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy developed by Allogene Therapeutics. It targets delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3), a protein highly expressed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and certain neuroendocrine tumors. The drug is designed to recognize and eliminate DLL3-expressing tumor cells through immunologic cytotoxicity and T-lymphocyte subset replacement. Preclinical studies have shown that ALLO-213 demonstrates potent anti-tumor activity with a favorable safety profile, effectively curbing tumor growth without damaging normal tissue. As an allogeneic product, it offers the potential for rapid availability compared to autologous CAR-T therapies[1][4][5][8].
