Overview

ALLO-715 is a first-in-class, allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy targeting B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA). It is genetically engineered to minimize the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and reduce CAR T cell rejection. Unlike autologous CAR-T therapies, ALLO-715 uses healthy donor T cells, making it an "off-the-shelf" product that can be administered without the need for individualized manufacturing. The therapy is designed for patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least three prior lines of treatment. In clinical trials, ALLO-715 has demonstrated promising safety and efficacy profiles, with overall response rates up to 70% in certain dosing cohorts and manageable adverse events such as cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity[1][2][4][6][7].
