ALLO-ASC-DFU is an allogeneic cell therapy developed by Anterogen Co., Ltd., consisting of a hydrogel sheet impregnated with allogeneic adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ASCs). The therapy is designed to treat chronic or severe wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB), and deep second-degree burns. The ASCs within the hydrogel sheet exert anti-inflammatory effects and secrete essential growth factors, including vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF). These factors promote angiogenesis, enhance wound healing, and stimulate the regeneration of new tissue. The hydrogel sheet formulation provides a moist environment and a scaffold for the cells to interact with the wound bed, facilitating the delivery of therapeutic factors directly to the site of injury.
