ALLO-ASC-TI is an allogeneic adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell (ASC) therapy developed by the South Korean biotechnology company Anterogen. The product consists of expanded mesenchymal stem cells derived from the adipose tissue of healthy donors. It is primarily being developed for the treatment of tendon injuries, including lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) and rotator cuff tears. The therapeutic mechanism involves the secretion of various cytokines and growth factors that exert anti-inflammatory effects and promote the regeneration of damaged tendon tissue. ALLO-ASC-TI is administered via local injection directly into the site of the injury, where the cells modulate the local immune environment and stimulate endogenous repair processes.
