Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ALLO-ASCs is a tissue-engineered cell therapy product developed by A.A. Partners, LLC, for the treatment of severe burn wounds, including second-degree (2-B) and third-degree burns. The product consists of allogeneic adipose-derived multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) isolated from the stromal vascular fraction of lipoaspirate. These cells are delivered within a platelet-poor plasma fibrin or collagen-based hydrogel scaffold. The therapeutic approach leverages the regenerative properties of MSCs, which are believed to facilitate wound healing through the secretion of trophic factors that promote angiogenesis, reduce inflammation, and support the integration of autologous skin grafts. The construct is applied topically during and after skin grafting procedures to enhance the healing of deep burn wounds.
