**ALLOB cells with ceramic scaffold** is an investigational, locally implanted regenerative cell-therapy product developed by Bone Therapeutics and subsequently held by BioSenic. It consists of an off-the-shelf population of differentiated allogeneic osteoblastic cells derived from ex vivo-cultured healthy-donor bone marrow stem cells, combined at surgery with a ceramic scaffold for implantation into the lumbar interbody fusion site. The osteoblastic cells are intended to promote bone formation and spinal arthrodesis, while the scaffold provides local structural support for cell delivery. This formulation was evaluated in a completed Phase 2a lumbar spinal-fusion study in patients with symptomatic degenerative disc disease; BioSenic subsequently listed the ALLOB program as past development and discontinued.
