AlloCSC-02

AlloCSC-02 is an investigational allogeneic cardiac stem cell therapy derived from donor human cardiac tissue and developed by Coretherapix (later acquired by TiGenix) as the second product candidate from its cardiac stem cell-based platform for chronic cardiovascular indications.[1][5][10][13][14] It is designed as an off‑the‑shelf cell therapy intended to exert cardioprotective, immunomodulatory, and regenerative effects in chronic heart disease, conceptually extending the biology characterized for the related acute myocardial infarction product AlloCSC-01, although AlloCSC-02 itself remained at preclinical proof‑of‑concept stage and the overall R&D program was ultimately discontinued.[3][14]
