Overview

AlloEx is a therapeutic candidate consisting of exosomes derived from cultured allogeneic adult umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs). As extracellular vesicles, these exosomes carry a complex cargo of proteins, lipids, and RNA species that mediate paracrine signaling to promote tissue regeneration, immunomodulation, and neuroprotection. The product is primarily administered via intranasal instillation, a route designed to facilitate the delivery of bioactive molecules across the blood-brain barrier to the central nervous system. AlloEx is being investigated in multiple clinical trials for various neurological and motor disorders, including Parkinson's disease, stroke, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and trigeminal neuralgia, aiming to attenuate disease progression and improve functional outcomes.
