Allogenic ADSC cells (also known as CSCC_ASC) is an investigational advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) consisting of live allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells isolated from adipose tissue, delivered in a fibrin carrier. Developed by the Medical University of Warsaw in collaboration with the Medical Research Agency of Poland, it is primarily being studied for the treatment of chronic diabetic foot ulcers (diabetic foot syndrome). The therapy works through paracrine and regenerative mechanisms, promoting wound healing and tissue repair by modulating the wound microenvironment and stimulating angiogenesis. In Phase 2 clinical trials (FOOTCELL), the product demonstrated efficacy in reducing wound size and increasing complete healing rates compared to fibrin gel alone.
