**Allogeneic adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells in fibrin solution** is an investigational, locally applied advanced therapy medicinal product developed by the Medical University of Warsaw for chronic diabetic foot ulcers. The product contains viable allogeneic adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells sourced from a healthy donor and delivered onto the debrided wound bed in a fibrin solution that forms a thin gel layer. The cells are intended to support wound repair through paracrine regenerative, proangiogenic, and immunomodulatory activity rather than through a single defined receptor target. A completed early clinical study reported greater wound-area reduction with the cell-containing fibrin gel than fibrin gel alone, and the FOOTCELL randomized Phase 2 program is evaluating one- and two-dose administration schedules.
