Overview

Allogeneic multi-virus-specific T-cell therapy developed by the University Medical Center Freiburg. It consists of donor-derived CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes that have been stimulated ex vivo with synthetic peptide pools (PepMix) representing antigens from Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Adenovirus (AdV), and Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV). The therapy is designed to restore virus-specific immunity in immunocompromised patients, particularly those who have undergone allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and suffer from refractory viral infections. By providing a broad repertoire of T cells targeting multiple viral epitopes, it aims to control viral replication and prevent clinical disease.
