Allogeneic dendritic cell secretome is an investigational cell-free biologic therapy developed by PT. Prodia Stem Cell Indonesia (ProSTEM). It comprises the complete set of bioactive molecules—including cytokines, chemokines, growth factors, and extracellular vesicles (exosomes)—secreted by allogeneic dendritic cells. Unlike traditional dendritic cell vaccines that use live cells, the secretome approach utilizes these paracrine factors to modulate the immune system. In the context of advanced nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC), it is being evaluated as an adjuvant therapy, often in combination with autologous dendritic cell vaccines, to stimulate tumor-specific T-cell responses and reverse the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment typically associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-positive NPC.
