Allogeneic endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) are a cell therapy product consisting of precursor cells that differentiate into mature endothelial cells to facilitate vascular repair and neovascularization. The specific candidate developed by Chengnuo Regenerative Medicine is derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), providing a scalable and standardized source of cells. These EPCs are designed to treat ischemic conditions by integrating into damaged blood vessels and secreting pro-angiogenic factors that stimulate the growth of new vasculature. The therapy is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for acute ischemic stroke, critical limb ischemia (CLI), and erectile dysfunction.
