The allogeneic large multivalent immunogen breast cancer vaccine is a therapeutic cancer vaccine composed of human-specific large multivalent immunogens (LMIs) isolated from the membrane fraction of cells derived from a breast cancer cell line. As an allogeneic product, it uses tumor antigens sourced from donor (non-self) cells rather than the patient’s own tumor. The rationale for this approach is that most T-cell priming occurs via presentation of tumor antigens by host antigen-presenting cells after engulfment of these foreign tumor cell components, which can enhance immune recognition and response against shared tumor-associated antigens present in many patients’ cancers[1][2]. This strategy aims to induce or boost anti-tumor immunity in patients with breast cancer, particularly those with advanced or metastatic disease. Clinical trials have evaluated its safety and ability to stimulate immune responses; early-phase studies suggest it is safe, feasible, and associated with low toxicity[2][3][4]. The mechanism involves broad activation of the immune system against multiple shared tumor antigens.
