Overview

A preparation of allogeneic, cord-blood derived natural killer (NK) cells with potential cytolytic and antineoplastic activities. Upon administration, these NK cells may directly lyse cancer cells and secrete pro-inflammatory cytokines to stimulate a systemic immune response against cancer. The therapy is being developed as a cell therapy platform for the treatment of relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML), high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), myeloproliferative disorders, COVID-19 pneumonia, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The product is manufactured from pooled donor CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells using Notch-mediated cell expansion technology. Clinical trials have shown that the product is well-tolerated with no dose-limiting toxicities observed in Phase 1 studies[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
